After being convinced that all women in South Florida look at men as if they are walking wallets I gave up looking in person, scanned the women on JDate (for Jewish professionals) and joined.

The ability to review the women on JDate without even joining was instrumental in my signing up with them.I made sure to be 100% truthful answering their general profile questions and sent them a very recent picture. Within one week of getting on their site I had more than twenty women contact me. Of course I looked at their picture and profile to see if there was potential.

I ended up contacting six women, and dated only two of them. Only two because two years later I am engaged to the second woman I dated. After my second date with her I stopped answering e-mails.

Jdate and probably other internet dating sites does work as long as you’re 100% truthful and submit a recent picture.
