Review of Soulmatch.com
Soulmatch.com matching system allows you to search for singles in your area that share your same religious or spiritual beliefs.
Where do singles find other singles who share their deep religious or spiritual beliefs? Soulmatch.com does a great good job of addressing these needs, without going overboard like other Christian or Jewish sites.
Each dating site customizes their questions around a specific lifestyle or theme in order to return relevant search results for itâ?Ts members looking for people they have something in common with. Soulmatch.com focuses itâ?Ts profile questions on values, spirituality, character and beliefs.
There are two things different about Soulmatch.com that will jump right out at you. First, when you perform a quick search, in addition to the normal age range and zip code settings, it prompts you for two additional, optional, items: Faith and Character. Faith is a pull down box of choices such as Christian, Catholic, Mormon, Jewish, etc… and Character is stuff like: Adventurous, Trustworthy, Creative, etc… To be honest with you, I get the Faith question, Iâ?Tm not sure why I would ever want to limit my results to say â?oIntellectual, curious, rationalâ? which is one of the Character options. In their defense you can select â?~Anyâ? for either of these choices.
Soulmatch.com has one of the most extensive profile questionnaires Iâ?Tve seen. Plan on investing about 45 minutes of your time to answer all the questions about you and your match. The profile is broken down into four categories: Basic, Values, Personality and Beliefs and Practices. You also have the ability to really customize your search results by defining Basics, Beliefs and Values and Personality of your match as well. I took the time to really answer these questions, including the ten very detailed essay questions. This investment in time resulted in a lot of interest from the women on the site! This is because most of the guys on this site simply donâ?Tt invest the time, so my profile stuck out of the crowd.
When browsing profiles you can send â?osparksâ? which are canned messages to let someone know youâ?Tre interested in them. This is a free feature. If you decide to send an email message, plan on spending $30 for one month, $60 for three or $120 for a year. This makes them a little on the high side when it comes to subscription rates for internet dating. The site is well designed and easy to navigate. The only thing I didnâ?Tt like on the site is the fact is shows â?oMore Photosâ? under their picture even when they only have one picture.
The site also offers a variety of newsletters if youâ?Tre so inclined. I was surprised they do not offer the ability to chat online. So your subscription gets you the ability to send and receive email.
All in all, I enjoyed the time I spent on this site. I didnâ?Tt meet my Soul Mate, but I did meet a couple of very nice women.
